The chocolate has been eaten. The leftover hot cross buns are in the freezer for another day.

But the book, Remember what He said, is still available to be read. Looking at the pages, your little one might be calling the emotions as they look at the colourful illustrations – sad, happy, excited. Maybe they’re spotting the flowers.

It’s a very hot or rainy day and you’d like a little quiet moment for a drink! Get out the crayons or markers, the paints or the playdough – print out the ‘Colour me in!’ page.
If you have a laminator at home, you can create the colouring page into a playdough activity – “See how many flowers you can make? Can you dress the people with playdough?” Good for imagination and fine motor skills.

Page two can become an interactive prompt. Looking for the faces and making a face just like what you see. Counting the flowers. Finding the shapes. It might be that your school aged child participates and helps their younger sibling.
Lots to do!
